Monday, February 16, 2009

Ellen Muth’s latest film, “Dead Like Me: Life After Death”, releases tomorrow, February 17, 2009. The movie will be straight to DVD, but fans of the television show are excited. It’s been two years in the making, and about four and a half years since the show went off the air. Ellen and other actors in the film appeared at New York Comic Con last weekend to promote the film’s release, and encouraged people that have never seen the show to give it a chance, saying that it’s not just another episode.

As a biography, Ellen Muth was born on March 6, 1981 in Milford, Connecticut, so her age is 27. Her measurements are 5′3″. She is a member of Mensa and Intertel. She describes herself as sarcastic with a dry sense of humor.

Ellen began acting at the age of 10 and landed her first big role at 14, in Stephen King’s “Dolores Claiborne”. The role garnered critical acclaim and earned the young actress a best supporting award at the Japanese Film Festival. Since then, she has gone on to appear in several feature films, including “Rain” and “The Young Girl and the Monsoon”. Ellen has also worked in television. In fact, she is likely most known for her role as George on Showtime’s “Dead Like Me”. The show ran for two seasons, from 2003 to 2004.
