A near decade old story of a Kearney kidnapping is made into a TV movie to air Sunday night.
"Taken in Broad Daylight" follows the true story of then 17 year old Anne Sluti's horrific kidnapping.
It happened back in April of 2001 – she was attacked in a Kearney parking lot and taken by 32 year old Anthony Steven Wright, also known as Tony Zappa.
He held Sluti captive for six days before he surrendered after a 10 hour police standoff in Montana.
The movie airs Sunday night at 7:00 on Lifetime movie network.
